Shirley participated in various activities over the years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, golfing, bowling, and listening to music. She was even scheduled to teach this upcoming Sunday. She will be greatly missed by all of her Sunday School students. Shirley was a great quilter and was a member of the Quilters Hall of Fame. She loved to garden and loved all types of flowers. Shirley had previously served as a board member of the Council of Churches and had been the secretary and a board member of the Friendly Center Community Center.
