I have known Jeremy since we was junior's in high school. We were at Tucker studying diseal mechanics. Since then we have kept in touch over the years and became real good friends. We worked together as Union Millwrights and carpentry on the side. Jeremy was the type of person who didn't know a stranger and could always bring a smile to your face, and had a great since of humor. He will be greatly loved and missed by the brothers of the Local 1029.
Rest in peace brother,
John Nichols and Family

I would like offer my condolences to Jeremy's family and friends. I was a member of local 1043 and worked with Jeremy in the steel mills in North West Indiana. I truly enjoyed the time I spent with him. He was a hard worker and a lot of fun to be around. In the most difficult situations he would find humor and lighten up the mood.

My Condolences to all

Jeremy was funny, sincere and devoted man to his family and friends as well to his work. I remember him from high school and how he met my best friend Jaime. They had a lot of love for each other.. Jeremy always helped me if I needed it and he never judged.. I am going to miss him greatly! My condolences to all the families of Jeremy''s.

Jeremy was a great guy and I would consider him a good friend. Although I didn't see him lately as much as I had before, every time I did see him it was a handshake, and good to see you, followed up by half an hour of catching up. I had a couple of moments that I wanted to share. The first one is from our freshman year in high school, jeremy and I were both members of the class of 94. We also had speech together our freshman year and ended up picking each other out and joining the speech team that travelled to other schools and competed. It was a blast, and we became fast friends and laughed all the time. Our little skit, which we did as a team that was him and I and we were arguing at the gates of heaven on which one of us had done all the things we needed to do to get into heaven. It was a prewritten script, but we always did the best we could and even won a couple of awards. The other moment I want to share is lunch time our sophomore year. jeremy, me, dan underwood, and chad reasoner all sat together every day at lunch our sophomore year. It was a four person table so it was just us and whatever guys that age talk about. I just remember laughing so hard all the time at the crazy things everyone had to say, and just what a special thing in my life that is to remember like it was yesterday. I'm really sad about what happened and wish there was something I could do or say. I wish that I would have gotten to talk to jeremy and let him know what a positive impact he had on so many people and how much he was loved. I look back with a smile on my face about all the time I got to spend with him and hope others can do the same.
