Clyde David Lamb, 71, of Fairmount, died Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Danville Regional Rehab. David was a lifelong resident of Fairmount. He worked for McCaslin Farms, drove a truck for Pallet Builders, was in Fairmount Civil Defense for over 45 years, and was an amateur Ham Radio operator. He also was a member of SASS, Single Action Shooting Society, since 1994. David was a pro wrestler for 23 years with the Champion International Wrestling Association, and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame on September 21, 2012, under the name of "Cousin Bubba". David married Vicki Blackburn on November 2, 1969, and they celebrated 47 years of marriage before she passed on February 20, 2016.
David is survived by his siblings, Rusty Lamb, Cullman, AL, Iva "Sissy" (Alan) Troxell, Cullman, AL, Pat Chapman, Tampa, FL, Marilyn Ray, Tampa, FL, Joan (Joe) Vinci, Riverview, FL, Ron (Mickey) Lamb, Coatesville, and Jerry Lamb, Nappanee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki; parents Herbert and Nora Mildred Lamb; brother, Tom Lamb; and sister, Rita (Ray) Lamb.
Arrangements for David have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. A graveside service will take place at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, with Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating.
