Jerry A. Riddle

December 22, 1960 ~ April 3, 2019 (age 58)

Jerry A. Riddle, Jr., 58, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in Marion, Indiana. He was born on December 22, 1960, to the late Jerry & Mildred (Bockover) Riddle, Sr., in Marion, Indiana. Jerry graduated from Marion High School, in 1979. He attended classes at Ivy Tech and obtained a skilled trade certificate. Jerry was in the Army from May 1979 to May 1985. He then worked at RCA until they closed, and he went on to be a truck driver for Rock Leasing until he retired in 2014. He was a former member of the American Legion in Jonesboro, Indiana. Jerry loved Harley's, he had such a fun personality, he was down to earth, loved to stay busy, and he always worried more about others than he ever did himself. He truly was a great brother, father, papa, great-papa uncle and best friend. 

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Bonnie (Darrell) Peak, Pleasant Hope, MO; sister, Sharon (Joseph) Castillo, Marion; half-brothers, John Riddle, Mobile, AL; and Danny Riddle, St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Kelsey, Katie, Shyla, Tyler, Emily, Kaiden and Mayson Peak; nephews, Matthew (Tiffany) Castillo and Edward Wheatley, Jr..; nieces, Alyssa Dudley, Tracy Mitchell and Pam (Randy) Schummer; great-nephews, Jarek and Landyn Castillo, Aydon and Skyler Wheatley, and Calvin and Keith Mitchell; and his close friends, Mike Brown, Tom and Lorrie. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Mildred (Bockover) Riddle, Sr.; his grandmother, Mary Goodson. 

Arrangements for Jerry have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Avenue Marion, Indiana 46953. There will be no services at this time.  

Contributions made in honor of Jerry can be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
