Amenda "Kay" Winningham

Amenda "Kay" Winningham, 80, went to serve the Lord on October 27, 2020. She was born in Altus, Oklahoma on leap year, February 29, 1940, to the late Russell and Ruby (Witt) Wolfe. Kay married the late Bill Goodman in Altus in 1958, where they later moved to Marion, Indiana with their three children. Upon moving to Marion, Kay was employed by RCA for 24 years and that is where she met the second love of her life, Tom Winningham. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ruby (Witt) Wolfe; daughter, Teresa Hammons of Atlus, OK; two sisters, Pam Cox of Olustee, OK; and Judy Sherman of Atlus, OK; three brothers, Homer, Jerrel, and Clifford Wolfe, all of Altus, OK. She is survived by her husband, Tom Winningham, Marion; daughter, Debby Calvin, Fort Wayne; three sons, Randy (Lori) Goodman, Marion; Barry (Brenda) Winningham, Wabasha, MN; and Barney Winningham, Fairmount; brother, Charles (Susan) Wolfe, Muncie; two sisters, Gayle (George) Eiler, Olustee, OK; and Brenda (Tom) Sawin, Whitesboro, TX; Kay was also the loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Kay was known for her love of flowers and plants, stopping to dig up anything that delighted her along the roadside and surrounding areas. This is why Tom carried buckets and shovels on all of their trips. In Kay's final years she was lovingly surrounded by her grandchildren, in which she adored. Arrangements for Kay have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, where a visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m, with Eric Bingaman officiating. Burial will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery in Swayzee. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
