Barbara J Ice

Barbara J. Ice, 88, died Sunday morning, November 1, 2020, at Wyndmoor Marion. She was born on July 20, 1932, in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Charlie and Hazel (Robinson) King. She graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1950. She married Jack Ice on November 6, 1953 and together they shared nearly 53 years before he preceded her in death on October 7, 2006. Mrs. Ice was a homemaker and was a member of the Jefferson Christian Church, Upland, the Women's Christian Temperance Union, and the Church Women United, Marion. Survivors include three children: Dan (Linda) Ice, Swayzee; Steve (Robyn) Ice, Upland; and Jeanne (fianc: Lee McCarty), Matthews; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles, John, Richard, and Buddy, Jr; three sisters: Edna Frame, Rebecca, and Mabel; and an infant sibling. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave, Marion, Indiana. The funeral service will be private and burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery, Upland. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
