John R. Allen

John R. Allen passed away July 17, 2019, at his Marion home. He is survived by his mother, Barbara L. Allen, Marion;brother, Oren (Sharon) Felton, Fairmount;stepmother, Rhonda Allen, Converse; uncles, Don Allen, Marion, and Phillip (Carol), Michigan;aswell as nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Allen;grandparents, Bud andFern Allen, and Arthur and Ella Newell;and beloved dog, Wags. John was a 1983 graduate of Madison Grant High School and attended Purdue University. He was previously employed at Star Financial Bank andRGIS LLC. Arrangements for John have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
