Aaron Himes

Aaron Himes, 37, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Yemassee, South Carolina. He was born on September 22, 1988, in Goshen, Indiana to Debra (Kyte) Himes and Thomas Himes.

Aaron could make anyone laugh with his infectious personality. Although he was an avid workaholic, he loved to fill his free time with fishing and hunting excursions. He never missed an opportunity to crank up Lynyrd Skynyrd, no matter the song. The best quality of all was the love he had for his family in every way.

Aaron is survived by his son, Hunter Flores; sister, Ashley (Dustin) Himes-Durieux; brothers, Adam Himes and Andrew (Amy) Himes; niece, Madyson Shields and Brooklyn Bugby; nephew, Joshua Durieux; great-niece, Alice Williamson; great-nephew, Sawyer Shields; girlfriend, Renee Blevins; and several aunts and uncles.

He is preceded by mother, Debra Himes; father, Thomas Himes; and grandmothers, Muriel Cooley and Linda Shelton.

Aaron's care has been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana.
