Amy Jo Morris, 44, of Upland, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on July 9, 1981, in Marion, Indiana, Amy was the beloved daughter of Gary (Jackie) Reed and Sandy (Rick) Reed. A proud 1999 graduate of Mississinewa High School, she carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout her life.

Amy devoted her professional life to the manufacturing industry, recently working as a machine operator for Nestle. Her colleagues admired her work ethic and positive spirit, which illuminated the workplace.

Beyond her career, Amy was a devoted mother to her children, Alyssa Morris, Blake (Allison) Morris, Makara Dorsey, and Jaylee Dorsey. She found immense joy in caring for her grandson, creating cherished memories that will remain with her family forever. An animal lover at heart, Amy had a special fondness for cows and delighted in spending time outdoors, planting flowers and embracing the beauty of nature.

Amy's warmth and compassion touched all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her family and friends who will remember her laughter, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Amy is survived by her children, Alyssa, Blake, Makara, and Jaylee; parents, Gary (Jackie) Reed and Sandy (Rick) Reed; grandson, Zha'Kari Randolph; siblings, Allen (Audra) Reed, Shelby (Michael) Forrester, Ricky Reed; many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, as well as many friends that were like family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delores and Charles Reed, Gladys and Robert Foss, and James and Billie Cox.

Arrangements for Amy have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal rescue of your choice, honoring Amy's love for all creatures great and small.

She will be profoundly missed by her family, including her devoted parents, her loving children, and all those whose lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing.
