Andrew "Andy" Seavers, 53, passed away suddenly August 4, 2025 at his home in Upland, Indiana. He was a father, grandfather, brother, veteran and friend to all.

Andrew was born December 12,1971 to Charles William "Bill" and Daisy "June" Seavers in Portland, IN. He graduated from Eastbrook High school in 1990. He joined the military right after graduation. He is an Army veteran serving during Operation Desert Shield. After the military, he went on to work at Thomas auditing as an Inventory Specialist until 1995. He then began at Tyson Mexican Original as a production recorder and team coordinator for 15 years.

Andrew enjoyed spending his time outdoors in nature, working on his many collections, reading and spending time with his family, especially his best friend, his dog-12 year-old Chubbs.

Andrew is survived by his daughters, Chelsie Cross (Jerry) (Muncie), Sara Myers (Muncie): four grandchildren, Brody, Landon, Mason and Sandra: a sister Melissa Lampke (Muncie): a niece Taylor Lampke (Muncie): a nephew Tyler Lampke (Muncie) along with his best friends of 40+ years Ricky Webb (Matthews) and Andy Pomeroy (Jonesboro).

He is preceded in death by his father Charles William "Bill" Seavers, grandparents: Grant "Bob" Seavers, Helen (Martz) Seavers, Harry McEwen, and Anna (Stine) McEwen, his brother Christopher Baker, and mother of his children Sandra Myers.

Services for are as follows;

Thursday, August 14th at Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m.

Although he will be cremated, there will be a burial to follow at Jefferson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
