Brenda Joyce Jeffries, 76, passed away on July 25, 2026, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, Indiana, surrounded by those who loved her deeply. Born November 26, 1949, Brenda spent her earliest years in Kokomo, Indiana with her parents, Freeda (Stinnett) and John Mundy, before moving to the Fairmount area. She met her husband, Larry Jeffries, during her years at Fairmount High School. They married on September 3, 1965, nurturing their partnership until his passing on February 26, 2025.

Brenda was known for her crafting abilities. Quilting was her favorite hobby, but her talents in sewing, painting, and ceramics didn't cease to inspire her family and friends.

Brenda passionately loved her profession as a retail employee and owner, starting her career at Fairmount's Ben Franklin five-and-dime variety store, which served as a staple on Main Street, followed by years working at Driscoll's. Her biggest professional passion came in the form of Window Craft Mall, where she and her husband owned and operated the facility. Stocked full of booths of crafts and fun finds, the store brought her love of retail and crafting together.

She was known for her deep faith in God, attending services at Family Worship Center in Kokomo, Indiana.

Brenda is survived by children, Kevin (Robin) Jeffries and Jennifer (Cliff) Favors; grandchildren, Travis Jeffries, Jordan Jeffries, Austin (Sabrina) Jeffries, Justin Wisnieski, Peyton Wisnieski, Ashton Wisnieski, and Brooke Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kycin Jeffries, Keegan Hayes, Zaydin Jeffries, Areia Lee, Lakelynn Wisnieski, and Ellieana Wisnieski; and sister, Deborah Wilkerson.

She is preceded by her husband, Larry Jeffries; grandson, Tristan Wisnieski; and brothers, David Mundy, Jerry Mundy, and Troy Mundy.

Services for Brenda have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. No services will be held.
