It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Lee Moore, who left us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on July 8, 1975, in Marion, Indiana, Brian lived a life that was all about family and his favorite sports teams.
Brian was a devoted dad who loved spending time with his family. He married the love of his life, Melissa (Pawlak) Moore, on June 1, 2018, and they shared countless beautiful moments together. He was a proud supporter of the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana University, always ready to cheer them on with his laid-back demeanor.
An alumnus of Mississinewa High School, class of 1993, Brian went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Ball State University in 1997. He worked as a radio producer for WZPL and WXNT in Indianapolis before finding his place as a Lead Clicklist at Kroger.
Brian was a simple man with a big heart, known for his easygoing nature and genuine kindness. He attended Eastgate Community Church and cherished his time spent in the community.
Brian leaves behind his loving wife, Melissa; his son, Lucas Moore; his mother, Wanda (Davis) and James "Jim" Moore; his sisters, Stacy (Doug) Smith; and Charlotte Case; his grandmother, Irene Davis; his father-in-law, John Pawlak; brother-in-law, John (Gloria) Pawlak Jr.; and his faithful canine comfort companions Camila and Cleopawtra (black jack rescue) who faithfully stayed by his side through his illness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Everett Davis and Robert Moore; grandmother, Jessie (Moore) Wines; aunt, Janet (Davis) Nash; uncles, Dale Davis and Robert Moore; and mother-in-law, Rose Pawlak.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Mississinewa Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 200 North 7th Street, Gaas City, Indiana 46933.
