Carrie (Allen) Moon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted caregiver, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 14, 1956, to the late John Allen and Selita Lowe, Carrie was raised in a nurturing environment by her four loving parents-John and Becky Allen, and Selita and Alfred Lowe. Her deep compassion and love for others were evident from a young age, shaping her life's path as she found fulfillment in helping those around her.
After attending Madison-Grant High School, Carrie went on to earn her CNA certificate, embracing her calling as a caregiver. Throughout her life, she touched many hearts, providing unwavering support to her family, including her in-laws, husband, daughter, and anyone in need. Carrie's spirit shined brightly in her joyful love for singing in church and her cherished hobbies of doll baby collecting and crocheting, where she intricately crafted warmth both in her creations and in the lives she touched.
Carrie cherished her 35 years of marriage to Frankie Moon, the love of her life, who predeceased her. Their bond exemplified devotion and partnership, and together they nurtured a loving home filled with laughter, kindness, and warmth.
Carrie is survived by her daughter, Amy (Mike Breeden) Rapp; life partner, James Bertram; grandchildren, Dakota and Cheyanna Breeden; sisters, Lita (Craig) Freeman and Debbie Logan; brother, John (Mindy) Allen; and many children she viewed as her bonus children.
