Charles Allen Haisley, 86, died peacefully at home on August 27, 2025.

Charles was born on April 11, 1939 to Burr and Anna (Holloway) Haisley, on their family farm near Fairmount. On November 2, 1957 he married Ethel (Robbins) Haisley. She survives with their children Cindy (David) Long, Greentown, Van (Patty) , Jeff (Jenny), Neil (Velvet) Haisley, all of Fairmount; grandchildren, Cristi (Brad) Boyer, Adam (Lisa) Long, Roy (Steph) Hufford, Curt (Whitney) Haisley, and Shelby Haisley; ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harlan Haisley and sister Doris Ann Haisley.

Charles was a farmer and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson. He loved spending time with his family, going to flea markets and pawn shops, and loved to camp. He was "Papa Charlie" to the CLC Team on several coast to coast bicycle mission trips.

He attended Fairmount Wesleyan Church and was a 1957 graduate of Fairmount High School.

Services for Charles have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where services will be on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM with funeral service at 4 PM with Pastor Jeff Luedtke officiating. Cremation will follow.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairmount Wesleyan Church Missions.
