Charles Neal "Chuck" Rhoades

The Lord called Charles N. "Chuck" Rhoades, 59, home on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Chuck was born on March 26, 1964 in Marion, Indiana, the son of Franklin Neal and Joan (Lewis) Rhoades. He graduated from Chapel heights Academy in 1982 and attended Ball State University and Indiana Wesleyan University. He married Dorothy "Dottie" Suttles on June 17, 1995. He was the owner of R&R Pro Audio and was a custodian for Madison-Grant School Corporation. The Lord blessed Chuck and Dottie with a love of music and together they served Him faithfully singing with The Master's Own Gospel Group where Chuck was the tenor. Chuck and Dottie enjoyed traveling and cruises. Chuck was a devoted father to his two sons, was quick to help, and always had a smile on his face.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Dottie; two sons, Travis and Jordan, both at home; mother, Joan Rhoades, Marion; siblings, Denise (Mel) Weaver, Jalapa,  Sandi Pettigrew, Frankfort,  and Greg Rhoades, Las Vegas; in-laws; Bernice (Rick) Nelson, Fairmount, Lewis Suttles, and Sarah Amonett, both of Marion; special friend, Dianne Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Rhoades, and his father and mother-in-law, Lewis and Nancy Suttles.

Services for Chuck will be held at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4-8 PM. A funeral service celebrating Chuck's life will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10 AM with pastors David Stout and Jeff Luedtke officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.
