Cynthia L. Eastburn, 79, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 6, 2026, at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine.
She shared a lifetime of love and adventure with her husband. Wherever life took him, she went beside him, embracing his ventures-even farming in Wisconsin. Together, they built a family and faced life's many challenges with perseverance, love, and faith.
Her grandchildren treasured the funny things she said and did. She loved games of almost any kind, crafts, and magazines. She enjoyed all kinds of music, especially gospel, and loved Hallmark movies even when her family teased her about their predictable endings.
Her family is deeply thankful to the staff and caregivers at Rolling Meadows for the care, kindness, and compassion she received during her stay. Their support and attention brought comfort to her and to those who loved her.
Her family finds comfort in believing that Jesus called her by name and welcomed her home, whole and free, into the presence of the Savior she loved.
Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Holly Morrison and Jamie (Paul) Clifford; son, Chad Eastburn; grandchildren, Dr. Kelsi (Brad) Morrison-Atkins, Derek Eastburn, Grace (Trevor) Belk, and Chase Clifford; siblings, Rob (Jeryl) Ricks and Debbie (Claude) Huffman; and many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, James Eastburn; and parents, Juanita and Robert Ricks.
Her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren; in their laughter, their memories, and the ways they love one another.
