Daisy Rogers

March 17, 2013 — March 26, 2025

Daisy Eileen Rogers

Our beloved Daisy passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 12. Daisy was a beautiful bull boxer who we were fortunate enough to find after her previous owners abandoned her. Because of this, we never did know her birth date so decided that March 17, 2013 would be her birthday.Daisy was a very intelligent, loving, stubborn at times, a bit of a drama queen, supervisor of projects, funny girl. She looked forward to car rides to town and to Gma and Gpa’s house. She was a great protector, especially from the big bad UPS, FedX, postal carrier, and really anyone that had the audacity to be near our property. Her bark was usually worse than her bite however, especially if the delivery drivers had a treat.Whenever we had a get together she thought everyone came to see her. She was the life guard at our pool parties, protecting the young and old. She even fell in the pool a few times thinking she needed to save someone despite the fact she couldn’t swim. She loved her family with all her heart. She was a good confidant, loved to snuggle and give kisses. She was a good nurse when we were sick or just having a bad day. She loved listening to Christmas and 60’s music. She preferred Burger King hamburgers over McDonald’s. She didn’t like thunderstorms, fireworks, wind, cold, heat, rain. She loved laying on the deck and porch in the shade, as long as it wasn’t humid. Whenever a birthday was celebrated, she also expected a gift. At Christmas and all of the birthdays, she loved unwrapping all her gifts herself.Daisy leaves behind her parents, Scott and Cheryl Rogers; siblings, Megan (Ricky) Todd and Travis (Madison) Rogers; a nephew (who she was convinced was her own) Dawson Todd; soon to be niece, Maybelle Rogers; Gma Peck, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.Waiting for her on the other side of the Rainbow bridge were her Gpa Peck who is giving her all the belly rubs and rump scratches she wants, as well as her canine sister and brother, Sweetie and Buddy who were ready to run, jump, and catch marshmallows in the air with her.Daisy, you filled a void when we became empty nesters. Thank you for all the snuggles, laughs and memories. You were the best and we will miss you dearly.
