Donald Michael Board

Donald "Mike" Board, 76, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital. He was born on June 3, 1949, to the late Donald and Mary (Davis) Board.

Mike graduated from Kelloggsville High School in Kelloggsville, Michigan, in 1967. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. A dedicated and hardworking man, Mike was known for his skill in building houses and his talent for woodworking. He took great pride in his work and was respected by many for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Willie) Hunicutt; his son, Christopher Obenchain; his brothers, Dennis (Diane) Board and Gregg Board; and his granddaughter, Kayla Raymo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Terry Board; and his sister, Joyce Benedict.

Arrangements have been entrusted to College Park Chapel Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953. A graveside service will be held at Grant Memorial Park on February 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Steve Armes officiating.

Mike will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his craftsmanship, and the love he had for his family.
