Donald "Don" Glenn Snow, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Peoria, IL, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1947, in Hicksville, Ohio, to the late Brayton A. and Mary E. (Fullhart) Snow. Don lived a life marked by dedication and love. He was a 1965 graduate of Bryant High School and later attended Indiana Wesleyan University for one year before enlisting in the US Navy. He served on the USS Ticonderoga and the USS Oriskany during the Vietnam War. While in the Navy, his life was forever changed by a friend who led him to faith in Jesus Christ through a Navigator's Bible Study. His faith remained central to his identity for the rest of his life.

After completing his naval service, he married the love of his life, Sharon Kay Spilman on July 25, 1970. They shared 52 years of marriage. In his professional life, he began a notable career at 3M company in Hartford City, Indiana. He eventually earned his chemical engineering degree and contributed his gifts and expertise to 3M for 40 years, leaving a lasting personal and professional impact on all his colleagues.

Don's commitment to service extended beyond his professional life. He was also a devoted member of Upland Community Church, where he found deep community and spiritual growth in his walk with Jesus Christ. In the last few years he was also a member of Chillicothe Bible Church.

Don cherished the warmth of family and the joy of adventure. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling and biking, which allowed him to explore the world and create lasting memories with friends and family. When he retired, Don and Sharon spent several years serving with Roving Volunteers in Christ's Service (RVICS). When their health declined so that they could no longer help on construction projects with RVICS, Don and Sharon enjoyed spending the winters at Dove's Rest in Winter Haven, FL.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly (Christopher) Robey and Karen (Joseph) Horn; his brother Brayton (Marcia) Snow Jr.; his sister Bonnie Moore; and his cherished grandchildren: Sara Horn, Ashley Horn, John Horn, Nathan Horn, Luke Robey, Hannah Robey, and Andrew Robey. Each of them will carry forward his legacy of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Sharon; parents, Brayton and Mary Snow; sister June, step-brother, John, and step-sisters Mary Ellen and Wilma.
