Ginger Lamb

Ginger Diane (Hutte) Lamb, 71, of Marion (IN), passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne after an extended illness. She was born in Marion (IN) on June 9, 1955, to Naomi and David Hutte. On December 23, 1991, she married Steve Lamb.

Ginger was a free spirit, who never met a stranger, spreading the joy of life everywhere she went. She loved hymns and the Golden Oldies, spending her Saturday mornings listening to the radio. She loved to call and celebrate a loved one's birthday by singing "happy birthday" on the phone, a memory her loved ones will cherish. She was a lover of all four-legged animals, especially her cherished cat companion, Angel. Ginger was an avid cook who loved to make her delicious kabobs for the family and every Thanksgiving she would bring her famous, homemade dressing. Her generosity was a gift she bestowed on loved ones and strangers alike.

Ginger is survived b her husband, Steve Lamb; sister, Carla (Jim) McIntyre; brothers, Skip (Marie Franke) Enyeart, and David Hutte Jr.; stepbrothers; and one stepsister.

She was preceded by her parents; daughter, Christy Fields; and brother, Chuck Enyeart.

In honor of the family's wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are being made by Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana.
