Jerry Lynn Honeycutt, age 68 of Marion, Indiana, born March 25, 1955 in Pineville, KY, passed away December 1, 2023 after a brief, but vicious, battle with cancer. He was a 1973 graduate of Greenville High School, in Greenville, Ohio.
Jerry served in the Air Force and later worked as an electrician at Borg Warner Automotive in Muncie, Indiana for over 20 years. He retired from Meridian Foods in Eaton, Indiana in 2019.
A lifelong golfer, avid bowler, and documentary addict, he could also fix anything, and often put his skills to use helping everyone he knew. He loved watching The 3 Stooges and Married with Children. Jerry was a Bob Ross fan, and he collected eagle figurines.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Glenn Honeycutt in 1959, and his brother James Honeycutt in 2013.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Honeycutt; wife, Debbie (Strouse) Honeycutt; daughter, Cathy (Honeycutt) Partin; son, Michael Honeycutt; grandson, Jared Partin; sisters, Shirley White, Mary (Mike) Showman, Arlene (Everett) Garland, Louise (Bill) Alexander; brothers, Thomas Glenn (Connie) Honeycutt, and Buford Mills; Stepsons, Ryan Miller, Brad Miller, and Chad Miller; Grandchildren, Katlyn, Trenton, Carly, Macy, Olivia, Benjamin, and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for Jerry have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will be at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 1:00 P.M.
