Joshua Charles King

Joshua Charles King, 42, of Marion, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Josh was born on March 5, 1984, to Charles R King and the late Dixie (Elliott) King. He was a 2002 graduate of Wes-Del High School in Delaware County, Indiana. Josh built a successful career as a manager with Carter Express Logistics, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and leadership.

Outside of work, Josh was an avid sports card collector who enjoyed buying, selling, and trading cards with fellow collectors. A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, he found great joy in the game, but nothing meant more to him than his family. Josh was a loving husband and an exceptional father who made it a priority to be present for each of his children's activities, celebrations, and everyday moments. His unwavering love, encouragement, and support will remain a lasting legacy in their lives.

Josh is survived by his beloved wife, Faith (Worl) King; his children, Hayden, Max, Oaklyn, and Nolan; his father, Chuck King; his brothers, Jason (Heidi) Pease and Jeff Pease; his nephews, Ryley and Bradley Pease; his nieces Carly and Emma Pease; his father and mother-in-law, Adam and Kim Worl; and other extended family including, Grace Worl, Burr Worl, Melissa Criswell, and Ashley Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie King.

Family and friends may gather from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana. A Life Celebration service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Waters officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith King to assist with future college expenses for Josh and Faith's children.
