Joshua Allen Wilson, age 37, passed away on October 18, 2026.
Born on February 15, 1989, Joshua brought deep love, joy, and unforgettable memories into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a devoted father, a beloved son, a protective brother, an uncle to look up to, and a true friend to all that knew him. His presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
Joshua was known for his famously gritty exterior and a colorful, blunt disposition that always kept things honest. But underneath that tough shell lay an absolute heart of gold,
He was also incredibly resourceful and determined; he was always willing to lend a helping hand even if he didn't initially know how to do something, turning right to Google and YouTube until he eventually got it completely figured out or totally messed up. Above all, Joshua was defined by his profound selflessness and devotion to his family. Whenever anyone needed him, he was there without hesitation-whether it was going to the grocery store, running to get gas, driving his mother to and from work when her vehicle was down, or ensuring his son Jaxton never missed a practice or a game. His family will always lovingly smile remembering his famously relaxed pace in life, often joking that it would take Joshua an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes because he simply took forever to do anything.
Joshua's greatest legacy and proudest achievements live on through his three children, who were the absolute center of his world: his son, Jaxton Wilson, and his daughters, Serenity Wilson and Arriahna Wilson. He also held a very special place in the extended family as the undisputed number one grandchild.
He is also survived by his heartbroken family, including his mother, Shelly Lynne Berryman; stepfather, Tim Hurd; father, Jeffery Charles Wilson; and stepmother, Anna Wilson. He leaves behind his beloved children, Arriahna Wilson, Serenity Wilson, and Jaxton Wilson; loving sisters, Meaghan (Cody Hickman) Wilson and Jessica Wilson; cherished nieces, Gracelynne and Payton Smith; grandfather, James Smith; grandparents, Tony and Pam Berryman; along with several loving aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will miss him dearly.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sheila Smith and grandfather, John Wilson.
Though his absence leaves a void that can never be filled, his memory, his unique character, and his deep love will remain forever alive in the hearts of those who loved him most.
Arrangements for Joshua have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. Visitation will be held at New Life Community Church on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., with funeral at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow at Salem Cemetery.
