Julia E. Richards

Julia E. Richards, 81, died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at her Fowlerton residence. Julia was born in Warren, Indiana on March 24, 1940, daughter of the late Ester and Helen Elizabeth(Dailey) Miller. She attended Fairmount Schools and married Donn Richards II on August 9, 1958. Julia was a homemaker and had worked at Midwest Packing and Foster Forbes. She loved raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julia also enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband Donn, of 62 years; four daughters, Cindy Stinson, Jonesboro, Sandra (Ray) Holloway, Fairmount, Kathy (Dale) Williams, Fowlerton, and Connie Richards, Fowlerton; seven grandchildren, Angela Holloway, John (Rhea) Doughty, Melissa (Aaron) Mullet, James (Tristan) Williams, Julie Holloway, Sean Hoskins and Nikolas Williams; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice Burton, Gas City, Jean Huff, Fairmount, Robert (Esther) Miller, AZ, and Richard Miller, Fairmount; special family friends, Mark, Nancy and Shawn Satterfield; Julia was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, James Miller and Joanne Estelle. Arrangements have been entrusted the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 12-2 PM. Funeral service will be at 2 PM with Pastor Aaron Mullet officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fairmount Masonic Lodge for the meal program in care of the funeral home.
