Kathleen "Kathy" Ada (Maloney) Gall, 88, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at her home.
Kathy was born October 7, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Stephen C. and Helen Margaret (Brown) Maloney. She married James Richard Gall on September 13, 1958, in Kokomo, Indiana. He preceded her in death in September 2024.
Kathy spent most of her childhood in New London, Indiana and graduated from Western High School, Russiaville, Indiana, in 1955. She went on to pursue a nursing degree at Reid Memorial School of Nursing and Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. In 1964, she and her husband moved to Grant County.
During her life, Kathy worked as a nurse in pediatrics at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo and Marion General Hospital; as a school nurse at Eastbrook Community Schools and Taylor University Health Center; and as a visiting nurse in Marion.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and camping. She loved playing games, reading, hosting family meals, and housing and feeding missionaries. She was a long time member of Union Chapel Baptist Church where she served in the church nursery and AWANA.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Kyle) Gall, Upland, Janice (Randy) Rickner, McDonough, Georgia, Joseph (Susan) Gall, Upland, Jeanette (Kenny) Wisehart, Marion, and Jerry (Valerie) Gall, Marion, 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Stephen Maloney.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Stillwater Hospice for the care they provided to Kathy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana. The family will honor Kathy's life with a private service.
