Kirklin"Kirk" E. Kingery, 59, of Muncie, died Monday, November 11, 2024 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Kirk was born on May 3 1965, in Fortville, Indiana, son of the late David Kingery and Barbara (Jim) (Clements) Adams who survives in Fishers. Kirk graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1983 and honorably served his country in the Air Force as a security specialist. Kirk worked as a loan officer for 25 years, most recently at Cross Country Mortgage. Kirk was very loved and loved helping people. If you said you needed something it would most likely show up the next day. He was the " take care of everything guy". Kirks greatest joy in life was being a Papaw to Jade and Vera. His happy place was camping at Lake Monroe. He enjoyed boating with family and friends, playing golf with his buddies. Kirk was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed NASCAR.
Kirk is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa (Poe) Kingery; children, Jordyn (Robby) Berndt, of Carmel, Chelsea Kingery, Noblesville, Brent Kingery, Muncie; granddaughters, Jade and Vera; mother, Barbara (Jim) Adams; brother, Randy Kingery, Anderson; Cindy Adams, Indianapolis; in-laws, Rodney (Wendy) Poe, Mark (Brandie) Simison, and Darin (Kynan) Simison; and several nieces and nephews.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, David and his mother and father-in-law, Steve and Linda Simison.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
