It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda J. Listenfelt, who left this world on February 18, 2026, at the age of 77. Linda was born on May 1, 1948, in Anderson, to the late Clifford and Donna (Spence) Clock. She graduated from Easbrook High School in the class of 1966. Linda married the love of her life, Edson B. Listenfelt, on May 20, 1983, he survives. She was a laborer at St. Regis, in Marion. Throughout her life, she exemplified kindness, quiet strength, and a caring spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A devoted member of Fairmount United Methodist Church, Linda found solace and community through her faith. Her interests and passions were as varied as they were enriching; she found joy in reading, challenged herself with puzzles, and nurtured her adventurous side through travel. Antiquing resonated deeply with her, as she cherished the stories behind each piece and the history they held.

Linda will be remembered for her warm presence and the way she brought comfort to those around her. Her gentle demeanor and unwavering support left an indelible mark on her family and friends, serving as a reminder of the importance of compassion and connection in our lives.

She is survived by her husband, Edson; daughter, Barbra D. (Scott) Haley, Fairmount; granddaughter, Adara (Nicholas) Smith; great-grandson, Phoenix Smith; sisters, Carol (Ed) Trice , and Sue Clock; brother, Rick (Linda) Clock, and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Mike and Ronnie Clock.

Arrangements for Linda were entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where on Friday, February 20, 2026, there will be a visitation held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Glen Davis. Burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Linda to Fairmount United Methodist Church, 301 South Walnut Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928.

As we reflect on Linda's legacy, we are reminded of the simple joys she embraced and the love she freely gave. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
