Linda L Trent

Linda LouAnn Trent, age 32, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on July 3, 2026. Born on February 20, 1994, to Kevin and Lena Houseman, Linda was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working with compassion and grace as a caregiver at Carey Services, ResCare, and as a home health aide. Her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her was unmatched; she had a gift for making even the heaviest hearts smile.

Linda attended Friendship Baptist Church with her beloved mamaw Brown. Beyond her caregiving, Linda found happiness in the simple pleasures of life-coloring, spending time with friends and family, and creating memories that will forever be treasured.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kevin and Lena Houseman; children, Grace (Kevena) Wilhite, Rose (KimAlicia) Wilhite, and Baby Serenity; sisters, Sara Cole, Lorie (Brandon) Longworth, Brittney (Derek) Stevens, Kat (Marcus) Trent, and Peyton Savannah Walker; aunts and uncles, Roy Brown and Karen Moore, Denver and Andrea Brown, and Terry Houseman; special cousin Roy Brown, III; special friends, Brandon and Stacey Wilhite; and many other cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Logan, Mamaw and Papaw Brown, and Granny.

Arrangements for Linda have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at noon with Pastors Matthew Castle and Bruce Koontz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

Linda will be profoundly missed, but her love and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
