Lynn Shook

Lynn A. Shook, 73, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Lynn was a quiet, kind, and gentle-spirited man who enjoyed spending time alone. He loved collecting military memorabilia, classic videos, and items that preserved his family's history, including postcards and letters. While living in Michigan, he attended West Berlin Wesleyan Church in Lake Odessa.

Lynn was born on April 30, 1952, in Lansing, Michigan, to the late Ray W. and Mary E. (Lynn) Shook. He graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1971. A farmer for most of his life, Lynn also worked at Herbruck's Chicken Ranch in Ionia, Michigan.

He is survived by his sister, Linda (Earl) Reneau of Fairmount; nieces, Erica Jefferies and her children, Dallas and Gracie Stewart, and Carrie Jefferies and her children, Michael and Maiya Garcia, and Aubrielle Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Nicholas Jefferies.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN. Family and friends may gather on Monday, November 17, from 12:00-1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Castle officiating. Interment will take place at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
