Marilyn Judith "Judy" Wright, 89, of Marion, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

She was born November 14, 1935, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Waldo and Pearl (Crooks) Barton. Judy graduated from Marion High School in 1954 and went on to earn her degree in Nursing from Indianapolis Methodist Hospital. She retired after 30 years of service as a Registered Nurse from the VA Northern Indiana Medical Center in Marion, Indiana, and the VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida.

Judy's faith was an important part of her life. She had attended Marion First Friends Church and for many years played piano for New Hope United Methodist Church in Marion. She was also gifted with a love of music, enjoying both piano and accordion.

Her family remembers her as "the most positive person, who always saw the good in everyone." She loved sewing, crocheting, and quilting, studying the Bible, working puzzles with her family, and was always ready for a new adventure. Judy and her husband, Don, once took a yearlong journey across the country in their RV, and together they enjoyed traveling and square dancing. She lived her life with energy, optimism, and a joyful spirit.

She is survived by her children, Desiree Clouser, Marc Barton Clouser, Martin Earl (Rachel) Clouser, and Mel Ross Clouser, grandson, Maxwell Earl CLouser, three great grandchildren; Mason, Roman, and Johea Clouser. Nieces and nephews, Michelle (Mike) Price, Sue Riley, Terry Riley, Mike Riley, and Janice (Lynn) Bosher; and special friends, Karen Rumple, Pat Goff, Sue Owen, Laura Dillon, and Anna S. Drabenstot.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald J. Wright; her sisters, Beverly (Al) Kosel and Patricia (Jim) Riley; and her grandson, Zachary Christian Clouser.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953.

Judy's Life Celebration will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Barton Price officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 - 1:00 prior to the Life Celebration, interment will follow immediately afterwords at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
