Marjorie M. Deal

Marjorie M. Deal, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Marion. Marjorie was born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 16, 1947, to the late Elwood and Kathleen (Davis) Griffith. She graduated from Mifflin High School in 1965. Marjorie was a homemaker.

Marjorie enjoyed watching sports, she was a fan of Ohio State University, and she liked playing cards. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Her love and kindness will be missed, but always cherished in memories.

She is survived by her daughters, Megan (Josh) Cole, and Dawn ("J.C." James Sr.) Cross; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Melissa; sister, Kay Whaley; and brother, David Griffith.

Arrangements for Marjorie have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. There will be no services at this time.
