Mary Lou Keller

Mary Lou Keller, 83, died Tuesday, May 2, 2107 at her Marion, Indiana residence. Mary Lou was born on April 6, 1934, one of 8 children born to the late Ralph and Iva (Elick) Prough. She married Elmer Keller on April 12, 1952 in Montpelier, Indiana. They celebrated 65 years of marriage. Mary Lou was a full time mother and homemaker. She loved gardening, cats, humming birds and flowers. In her younger days, she was an avid bowler, bowling on mother-daughter leagues and womens leagues. She is survived by her husband Elmer, children; Mike (Joyce) Keller, Judy (Dennis) Harvey, Janet (David) Webb, and Eric Keller, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, William, Raymond, Homer, James, LaVeeda, Norma Jean and Richard Prough, grandson Jason Keller and great-grandson, Kyler Carter. Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremations Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Private family services are being held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
