Patricia A. "Patty Banter" Cartwright

Patricia A. "Patty Banter" Cartwright, 90, formerly of Marion, Indiana died Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Avon Health and Rehabilitation.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Jay and Lola (Welch) Banter, born on October 29, 1935 in Marion, Indiana. She attended Van Buren High School. Patricia was a QMA at both Suite Living and Bradner Village for 23 years. She sold real estate for Century 21 for 15 years and was the former owner of the Village Cafe. She enjoyed working up until the time she became ill. She enjoyed reading and was a former member of the Moose Lodge of Marion and the AMVETS and had attended Lakeview Wesleyan Church.

Patricia is survived by her children Sandra (Charles) Rogers, Randall Dixon and Charles "Greg" Dixon; grandchildren she dearly loved, Chad (Kim) Rogers and Kelly (Eric) Smith. GiGi had four great-grandchildren she adored, Maddy Rogers, Emmy Rogers, Quinn Smith, and Declan Smith.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Adna Mae Guerin, Harry Lee Banter, Joe Banter, Donald Banter, Russel Banter, Betty Harpham, Mary Ruggles and Barbara Jane Felts.

Services for Patricia have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. A graveside service for Patricia will be at Park Cemetery on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 2 PM.
