Patricia I. Allison

Patricia I. Allison, 73, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her home in Fairmount surrounded by her family. She was born on December 22, 1949 to the late Harold O. and Bertha I. (Kale) Sutton. Patricia graduated from Blackford High School. She then married her late husband, Royce Allison, on June 4, 1981.

Patricia worked at RCA and then retired from University Nursing Center in Upland, Indiana as a CNA. She loved her kids and grandchildren. She would make family dinners for them every week. She also loved to go camping and gardening. She would spend hours baking, especially around Christmas time. Patricia was known to be in charge and she was a great leader. She also was a member of the Fairmount Legion Auxiliary.

Patricia is survived by her son, Phillip Brian (Tina Higginbotham) Hartley, Fairmount; daughters, Teresa Lynn (Ronald) Davis, Fairmount, Robin (Jason) Gardner, North Carolina, and Tara (Jason) Carpenter, Fishers; grandchildren, Brian James and Jessica Oren (Noah Johnson) Hartley, Zoe Hartisch, Autumn, Ethan, and Lauren Gardner, and Chase and Kincade Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hartley-Gary Emily Hartley, Keegan and Brookelynn Lloyd, Aubrey Hartley, and Elijah Johnson; brother-in-law, Roger Allison, Costa Rica; and niece, Penny Allison.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Harold and Bertha Sutton; husband, Royce Allison; brothers, Harold O. Sutton, Larry Sutton, and Thomas Sutton; nephew, Roger Allison.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. with a service to follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Fairmount Chapel, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, IN 46928. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Memory in Muncie, Indiana.
