Patricia "Mamaw" Louminta (Wise) Zirkle

October 25, 1939 - July 2, 2025

Patricia "Mamaw" Louminta (Wise) Zirkle, 85, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully at

home on July 2, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on October 25, 1939, to Opal and James Wise, Patricia grew up in Marion and never called

anywhere else home. She married the love of her life, Zimri Zirkle, on September 30, 1960, and

together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and generosity.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Gene, Gerald, Wilma, Jack, and

Merle. She is survived by her husband Zimri Zirkle; brother Michael Wise; daughters Pamela

Gulish, Debora Bratton, and Michelle Egler-Michel; eight grandchildren, three great-

grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and countless others who knew and loved her

as "Mamaw."

Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She was happiest with a full house and a warm kitchen.

She loved gardening, painting along with Bob Ross, making her famous popcorn balls, and

filling her home with music and laughter. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone to

her table with open arms and a full plate.

Patricia was a woman of deep faith and devotion. A member of the Brethren Church, she lived

out her belief in the Lord daily - offering encouragement, compassion, and care to all she met.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Arrangements for Patricia have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, IN 46953. A visitation will be held July 8, 2025 from 11-1pm. A service will follow at 1pm. Immediatly following a burial will take place at Thrialkill Cemetery in Swayzee, IN. In her honor, the family encourages you to carry on her spirit by opening your heart and home to others, just as she always did.
