Richard J. Renaud

Richard J. Renaud, 86, died Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Rolling Meadows Health Care in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Richard was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 1, 1939. He received his Bachelors' Degree from the University of Georgia where he was a lineman on the football team. Richard was a Food Technologist for many years. After retirement he kept busy as a grounds keeper. He was an avid sportsman and officiated, football, basketball, baseball and softball. He kept an immaculate yard and flower beds. Ellie his beloved beagle was always at his side. Richard was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Clinton, WI.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Linda (Roth) Renaud; daughters, Susan (Mike) and Michele (Dwight); sons, Joe (Nizzi) and Blake (Sarah); siblings Shirley Gonzalez and Calvin (Gail) Renaud; 2 grandchildren, Ayla and William.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother Robert Renaud.

Arrangements have been entrusted the the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. There are no services at this time.
