Richie Pena

Richie Peña, 20, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 29, 2025 in Surprise, AZ. He was a resident of Goodyear, AZ. Richie was born on December 4, 2004 in Marion, Indiana to Tiffany and Ricardo Peña.

Richie was a joy to be around. He loved to laugh, wrestle, cook, and write music. His personality and smile would light up any room he walked in to. He loved his siblings Anthony and Isabella deeply and was honored to take his sister to school each morning. Richie cherished his parents and friends. He was always eager to do anything to make them happy. He was loved by all because to know Richie was to love him.

He is survived by his parents, his siblings, his grandparents Elsa Peña, Antonia Peña and Terry Moskal.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Enett Balderas and his great grandfathers Deonicio Peña and Augustin Rios.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Richie on Friday, September 12 starting with a visitation at 11 AM, followed by his service at noon at Victory Outreach Church, 9620 North Metro Parkway West, Unit 135, Phoenix, AZ, 85051.

There will also be a visitation on Friday, September 19 at 11 AM at Real Community Covenant Church, 1240 S. Adams Street, Marion, IN, with services to follow at noon.

Richie will be interred in Marion, IN, at Grant Memorial Park.

Our hearts are in pieces at the loss of our beloved Richie, but we take comfort in knowing that he is in heaven rejoicing. Until we meet again.
