Robert "Bob" Conelley

Robert Ralph "Bob" Conelley, age 83, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 19, 1942, in Marion, Indiana, Bob was the cherished son of Norman and Mary Conelley, who preceded him in death.

Bob dedicated over 25 years of his life to the ministry as a pastor for the United Methodist Church, where he touched countless lives with his unwavering faith, compassion, and wisdom. He was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School, Purdue University, and IU South Bend, accomplishments that reflected his commitment to education and personal growth.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Bob was a man of many passions. He loved woodworking, often pursuing perfection in his craft, even if he felt he never quite achieved it. His affinity for farming and raising cattle brought him immense joy, and he was known for his culinary talents, baking delightful breads and cinnamon rolls. Bob's signature treat, the famous buckeyes, won the hearts and taste buds of all who were fortunate enough to try them.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his three beloved daughters-Carmen (Tim) Stoner, Shanda (Jeff) White, and Katrina (Jim) Milligan-who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their father. He is also survived by his brother, Fredrick Conelley, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Conelley, parents, Norman and Mary Conelley, and brother, Marideth Conelley.

Funeral services will be held at Armes-Hunt Life Celebrations Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. before the service. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery.
