Roger LeeRoy Miller

Roger LeeRoy Miller, 71, passed away on June 8, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital.

Roger was born on September 6, 1954, to the late Roy Miller and Lena (Huffman) Pickering. He was a graduate of Marion High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Roger worked for many years as a general contractor and was known for his ability to fix, build, or repair just about anything.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Roger enjoyed fishing, working on various projects, and lending a helping hand whenever it was needed. He was one of a kind and will be remembered for his independent spirit, sense of humor, and the love he had for his family. Known affectionately by many as "Uncle Roger," he made a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Miller; grandchildren, Austin Brower and Ally Chastin; six great-grandchildren; his longtime companion, Tammi Green; and many extended family members and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jason Miller.

Arrangements for Roger have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. Visitation will be held on June 17, 2026, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 with Pastor Bruce Koontz officiating. Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery.
