Ronald Banks, 83, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 14, 2026.
He was born on March 15, 1943, in Marlowe, Kentucky, to the late Maynard and Nellie (Anderson) Banks. In July 22, 1966, Ronald married the love of his life, Connie (Yoder) Banks, and together they shared many devoted years.
Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he worked as a journeyman for GM Truck and Bus, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a member of VFW Post 10.
Ronald had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing Elvis and gospel songs. He also loved playing the guitar and piano. In his free time, he could often be found working on cars or woodworking-skills he truly enjoyed. Above all, Ronald cherished his family and the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie (Yoder) Banks; daughters, Tracey (Bill) Liming of Plainfield, Indiana, Rhonda (Mark) Flint of Danville, Indiana, and Connie Hart of Marion, Indiana; sisters, Linda Morgan, Betty Parsons, and Kathleen Axsom; and grandchildren, Shawn Siener, Michalin Siener, Samantha Sink, Jay Flint, Brooke Kern, Elizabeth Kern, Lauren Rice, and Gavin Rice; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Eileen Banks; and his brother, Bob Banks.
Arrangements for Ronald have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Marion National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
