Ronald Davis

Ronald E. "Ron" Davis, 75 of Fairmount, died Thursday, June 12, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

Ron was born in Marion, Indiana on October 7, 1949, son of the late John Albert and Rebecca (Garner) Davis. He attended Fairmount Schools and married Teresa J. Gray on February 9, 1982. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2009.After Teresa's death he married Lynn Hartley on April 20, 2013. Ron was a truck Driver for USF Holland Teamsters, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the former Teamsters Motorcycle Association and a member of the TRIBE RC. Ron also worked at Walnut Creek Golf Course, where he enjoyed his title of Golf Cart Control Specialist. Ron loved life and had enjoyed golf, riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, was an avid hunter, and Green Bay Packers Cheese Head. He enjoyed his TV time in his theater seating. Ron was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 313 and the Gas City Moose.

Ron is survived by his wife Lynn; son Travis (Deandra Layton) Davis, Kirklin; daughter, Zoe Hartisch, Fairmount; three grandchildren, Casey Marie Davis, Tyler Eugene Davis and Kyson Michael Davis; brother, John (Jane Ann) Davis, Marion, ; sister, Barbara Ann (Rick) Conley, Noblesville; in-laws, Mike Wood, Jonesboro and Donna Davis, Fowlerton; and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, late wife, Teresa, son, Trinity Davis, sister, Carolyn Wood, and brothers, Timothy (Deborah) Davis and Tom Davis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM with the funeral service beginning at 6 PM. with Pastor Glenn Davis officiating. Cremation will follow.
