Rosemary Louise Petersen

Rosemary Louise Shull-Woodcock-Pine-Petersen 85 of Frankton, IN a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Anderson, Indiana, on Thursday September 23, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1941, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late Forest Everett Shull and Evelyn L. (Peters) Shull. Rosemary lived a life full of love and dedication, primarily as a housewife and caretaker. For many years, she brought her nurturing spirit to Dickie's Nursing Home, Elwood, IN where she made a positive impact on the lives of countless residents.

Rosemary was the mother to Pam Kemper, Karen (Ronald) Box, Gary (Becky) Woodcock, John (Jan) Pine, Patrick (Sherry) Pine, Christina Mott, Darlene (Jimmy) Hatt, and 3 step-children; Debbie Brown, Susan (Gilbert) Beaty, and Greg Petersen. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and dear friends. She is also survived by her sister Loretta Scott and sisters-in-law Ellen and Linda Shull, who shared many fond memories and laughter with Rosemary throughout the years.

Rosemary was known for her warm heart, infectious laugh, and boundless generosity. She had a gift for making everyone feel at home, whether it was through her delicious home-cooked meals or her welcoming nature. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, canning, and sewing.

A celebration of Rosemary's life will take place on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Fairmount Chapel Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN with Pastor Roger Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday September 29, 2026 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN.

Rosemary will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will continue to shine through her children and all those she touched throughout her life.

Rosemary was preceded in death by: her parents Forest Shull and Evelyn Shull, daughter; Patricia Woodcock, step-children; Michael Pine, twins; Bernard Pine, and Bonnie Coleman, Jeff Petersen, brothers; John Shull, Dennis Shull, grandchild; Baby Woodcock, son-in-law ; Frank Mott, and brother-in-law Ronald Scott. Rosemary was also preceded in death by husbands, Coleman Lee Woodcock, Bernard Pine, Sr. and Howard Petersen.
