Sherry Lynn Rice

Sherry Lynn Rice, 74, of Upland went to be with the Lord on June 9th, 2026.

She was born on February 4, 1952, to Frank "Bud" Rice and Janice Rice.

She is survived by her brothers, Terry Rice (Cindy) and Frank Rice (Betty), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Sherry went to Eastbrook High School and retired from many years at RCA.

Sherry was known for her deep love of family, working in her yard, watching the birds, enjoying music, and spending time near the water. More than anything, she treasured family gatherings and the moments shared with those she loved.

She will be remembered for her childlike honesty, unwavering loyalty, fierce defense of the underdog, trusting nature, inability to keep a secret for long, and her unintentionally hilarious, and fun-loving spirit. She was truly one of a kind and simply irreplaceable.

Although she had no children of her own, Sherry became a special "Nana" to nearly everyone in her family. She helped raise countless babies and children, filling the roles of mother, sister, aunt, confidante, and best friend whenever she was needed. The love and care she gave so freely shaped generations of her family and will continue to be felt for a lifetime.

Sherry's kindness, unwavering love for her family, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who had the true privilege of knowing her.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local pet shelter in her honor.
