Stephen McCune

Stephen Douglas "Doug" McCune, aged 47, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at Lutheran Hospital on September 13, 2026. Born on April 2, 1979, in Marion, Indiana, he was the beloved son of the late Stephen and Brenda McCune. Doug graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1997 and was known for his vibrant spirit and love of life.

Doug had many passions, including playing pool, engaging in video games, and attending car shows, activities that brought him much joy and allowed him to connect with friends and family.

Doug is survived by his cherished niece, Megan (Kelsey) Toy; nephews, Ryan (Belle) and Jake Stevens; great-nieces and nephews, Alexis, Chloe, and Kensley Toy, Tristan, Kye, Grayson, Weston, and Zaydon Stevens; daughter, Makayla Starr; grandson, Ukiah Starr; special friends, Jake and Leslie and kids, and Stevie, Joshua M., and Amanda; and several extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Brenda; sister, Laura Stevens; and brother, James Enyart.

Arrangements for Doug have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
