Tina L. Higginbotham

Tina L. Higginbotham, 61, of Fairmount, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Marion Health after a long battle with lung cancer.

Tina was born in San Bernardino, CA on February 13, 1963, daughter of the late Dana Lee Stevens and the late Mona (McGee) Cripe. Tina attended Marion School and most recently worked at Village Pantry and One Stop in Fairmount. She loved spending time with friends and family, watching true crime shows and soap operas. She loved watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs, NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr. and Tony Stewart. She also enjoyed going to the Muncie Drag Strip and Anderson Raceway.

Tina leaves behind many beloved family members including her three children, Joshua Trees, Marion, Maranda Higginbotham, Florida, and Burlie Higginbotham III, Sweetser; grandchildren; Shaelin Morrow, Ronnie Higginbotham, Khagon Higginbotham, Destiny Flynn, Khurkhlen Higginbotham, and Blade Higginbotham; great-grandchildren, Zayden and Zayvala Kidwell, Mya Hamilton, Oakley, Willow, River and Cree Higginbotham; companion Brian Hartley, Fairmount; siblings, Katerina (Ruben) Rodriguez, Norma (Neil) Morricle, Marion, Loretta Parker, Hungtington, Mary McClowe, Ohio, Chuck McCormick, Marion, Robert McCormick, Monteplier, and Allen Collins, Marion; nieces Alisha Morrical, Kimberlee Hardesty, Nicole Hubbard, Tiana Jaskolka, Elizabeth Parker; nephews, Travis Jaskolka, and Matthew Stevens.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Burlie Higginbotham Jr on 12/16/2010, brother, Sammy Dottson, niece, Raquel Veler, mother, Marthena Stevens.

Services for Tina will be held at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana on Monday, July29, 2024. Visitation will be from 5- 6 PM with the service beginning at 6 PM. Cremation will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Service of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
