James J. Moore, 88, passed away at 11:33 a.m. Thursday at his home. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA, the son of the late Earl A. and Harriet Mae (Hayward) Moore. He graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1938 and also was a 1942 graduate of Indiana Technical College in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. He married Lucy Hauter on May 10, 1942. Mr. Moore retired as an analyst from the former Fisher Body Marion Plant in 1982. Prior to that he had been employed with Goodyear Air Craft, and Pennsylvania Rail Road. He was an Army veteran of WW II. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lucy; three daughters, Sharon (Jim) Cripe, Brown County, Barbara (Dick) Haggard, Eaton, Janie (Bill) Norton, Upland; six grandchildren, Tim Jones, Jr., Teri Jones, Amy (Thad) Haney, Jenny Norton, Jimmy (Carrie) Norton, Mike White; and six great grandchildren.
