I am unable to attend the funeral, However, my prayers are with your family in your time of loss. I never met Phyllis but she raised 2 great sons (Keith, Chris)who both know the Lord. I have known Chris and Keith for many years. I wanted to share a Bible verse that I clung to when I lost my grandmother almost 10 years ago. Romans 8:28 May God bring comfort.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Phyllis Myer. She was married to my cousin, Richard. My mother, Omel Trout Chandler, and Richard's mother, Mary, were sisters. Our family visited Upland every summer for many years when I was growing up. My husband and I lived in Upland for a while in the mid 60's. Phyllis and Richard were alway so kind and friendly to our family when we lived in Upland. Later we frequently emailed each other sharing family news. Phyllis was such a wonderful lady and always so pleasant to everybody. She will be missed. Jean Chandler Macy
