Dear Rachel and family, Mike will be remembered by us for the friendship we shared through the years. Rachel and Mike were so good to us as newlyweds and we so enjoyed the times at church and the Young Marrieds group (45 years ago), parties, movie nights with the (then new to all of us) Satellite stream, the boating outings, and the Karaoke evenings, listening to him sing. I was thinking of a word to describe Mike, it would be Charismatic. He was a great guy – a good friend and neighbor. He was interested in people and in helping people and that drew them to him. We will miss him and pray that the memories you have will comfort you.
Rachel and family was saddened to hear of the passing of Mike. I'm sure you have a lot of great MEMORIES to help ease the sorrow. I Thinking of you in my thoughts and prayers. You were always a good friend . Debbie RICKS Huffma
Rachel & boys & families, I will miss those phone calls to ask me about something or someone, give me a hard time or just call to chat like the day he did when he tested positive for Covid 19. We have the memory of you & Mike bringing sump pump in & both you & Mike helping us man a basement flooding all night or the time you were visiting & it was past my Mike’s bedtime & he said you could stay but he was going to bed. Yes Mike reminded him of that over the years. We loved the trips with you both even though my Mike woke you both to get on the road at 4 am. True friendship! So many wonderful memories of a friend that will never be forgotten or replaced but has left us heartbroken. I’m sure Mike is having a big reunion in Heaven with those he loved that have gone on before us. We have the assurance we will be reunited some day.
So very, very sorry, Rachel! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Mike through the postal service not knowing we had relation in common. We traveled together with the Posaster group and became great friends. Mike was easy to be friends with. Every positive adjective decribes Mike. He will be missed more than he could imagine.
