I am going to miss Irving so much. We prayed for a good neighbor when we moved in and God blessed us with Irving. He became family for us instantly. Irving became my garden buddy instantly. I wanted strawberries and he made it all possible. He taught me everything I needed to know about strawberries. The first year they tasted great because they had the Irving touch. Irving loved mommas zucchini bread and pie. He told us with all that good food we were going to make him fat. I am going to miss watching cowboy movies with him, baseball games and talking politics. I am going to miss our conversations we had many times on his swing. He always knew when I was depressed and he would give me his words of wisdom and by the time it was time for me to go home, my head would be cleared and life would be good again. I loved my friend Irving and my life is going to be very empty. I am going to miss the phone calls, I am going to miss hearing about his life as a kid. He may have told me a story 100 hundred times, but, I always enjoyed it like I was hearing it for the first time. Irving thank you for everything you gave my family. Your stories, your life and friendship. You always said you wish you could have given me more, but, you gave me a great gift. You gave me your friendship and to me that was worth more than all the money in the world. My friend I know you are no longer in pain and I know you are enjoying the warmth of heaven, since you did not like the cold. I know you are enjoying seeing your mother and father and your son as well. Irving, I hope someday I will see you again. Ferguson Campbell family. Penny, Abi, Nolan, and Nancy
