Elaine Joyce Luthy
June 19, 1926 - May 03, 2022
The Luthy’s lived behind my parents home on Joyce Street, Upland. Very nice folks. I also had Fred for a class in Christian Education. Prayers for all.
She was a gracious person. And there always seemed to be something regal about her. She was kind and quiet and warm and cheered the world with her music. When she was home she was an avid stair-climber. She is missed. Roger and Rosie Phillips
So sorry for your loss. Her sweet spirit and beautiful smile was such a blessing to us. Our hearts were touched by her kindness and love. Praying for all you during this difficult time. Blessings, Stan and Bonnie Davis
I’m so sorry for your families loss, Craig. Sending prayers to all of you.

Darla, Craig, and extended family,
I loved your mom so much and my many visits with her even when she was still living in the family house on Wright. It was such a joy to take her to Suite Living with me where she assisted me by playing the piano for my monthly Sunday church for the residents. The last time I saw her, we went out to the piano there. It was her request for me to sing while she played. Elaine, I loved you so very much. How I will miss our sweet times! 🎶❤️
Hello Craig, I am so sorry to hear about your dear mother. I remember meeting her. Your mom was such a beautiful lady and very nice. I send you my sincere condolences. My prayers are with you. May God bless your family with His peace during your time of loss.
Just loved this woman. She was my music teacher and she knew me every time I saw her through the years. Her kind spirit was a blessing to everyone she met. Prayers for the family. Lisa Shively Beneke
Even though we only met years ago; I have heard nothing but wonderful memories from your family on how much you were loved and what a amazing woman you were.
My sincere condolences to the family members/friends who will miss you and were blessed to have known and loved you. 🙏

I had Mrs. Luthy in the early 1960's. She was that type of person that everyone liked. She will be missed. Gary Olynger

I am sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this time. When we used to get together for the holidays, I always enjoyed Elaine’s visits. She was such a sweet, joyful, quiet lady with a wonderful smile.
Mrs. Luthy is one of those teachers you don't easily forget. She taught music at East Elementary School and inspired myself and probably many others to include music in their lives. I learned piano as a young child as a result and am grateful for her influence and for the role music has played in my life. More importantly, she exemplified a godly life. I celebrate her life with you and will be praying for you all.
Mrs Luthy was a wonderful , dedicated teacher. I have many happy memories of music classes with her at J.C. Knight School. She helped instill in me, and I believe in others, a lifelong appreciation and love for all genres of music. I am very grateful to have had Mrs. Luthy as a teacher. I offer my sincere condolences to her family and all who also knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss. Family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mrs Luthy was a wonderful music teacher and person. My condolences to her family and friends.

Our thoughts are w/ you, Craig, Paula, and family.
